My parents were here Thursday through Sunday; they live about a thousand miles from us, so we don’t get to see each other that often. I’m hoping that they’ll come for Christmas, since we won’t be traveling with the little bird, most likely, but no one knows yet what will happen.
I’m meeting with a midwife later today, and I sort of hope that I get to hear a heartbeat in addition to just having a conversation, but I’m not optimistic about that part. Well, it’s still a step forward.
Friday night I received a package from blogger luna; it was jam-packed with some truly amazing stuff. Swank baby shampoo, a couple of plush toys, some truly adorable baby clothes, a Moby wrap, and a copy of Good Night Moon: I can’t thank her enough, but I’m going to give it my best shot. So many thanks, luna—I’m a bit overwhelmed.
